Healthy breakfast healthy mind
Sometimes you are running late, or your child would rather play then eat. So you feed them what they like to eat. A bowl of corn flakes, a few grapes and blueberry yogurt. Sound pretty healthy? Frosted corn flakes: 35 grams. a serving of grapes: 13 grams. a serving of blueberry yogurt 19 grams.
The American Heart Association recommends children consume less than 25 grams, of added sugar per day. Wait. That’s already over the limit for 1 day! Also, your child will be stimulated and possibly hyperactive, physically or mentally in no condition for learning when they get to school.
Help your child- feed them a healthy and nutritiously balanced meal for breakfast, the most important meal of the day!
